It's great to see that Tech still supports their women's team, even though their record isn't very good. I hope we can show our girls support like that for the last few games in GIA.
Good job, Cowgirls!

LUBBOCK, Texas—Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team held on for a 58-56 win over Texas Tech on Thursday night in front of 10,588 fans inside United Spirit Arena.
With the victory, the 15th-ranked Cowgirls moved to 20-3 overall and 8-2 in Big 12 play. The win also snapped the Lady Raiders’ (14-10, 2-8) seven-game winning streak in the series. Tech had also won 10 consecutive at home against OSU.
Neither team could get on track offensively in the first half as the Cowgirls were held to a season-low 21 points. OSU hit just eight of their 27 shots (30 percent) in the half and was marred by 13 turnovers.
Junior Taylor Hardeman provided the offensive spark for OSU, hitting four 3-pointers in the first half. The Norman, Okla. native finished with 15 points, behind a 5-of-10 effort from beyond the 3-point line.
The Lady Raiders hit just 26 percent of their shots in the first stanza, but chipped away at OSU’s eight-point lead before Jordan Murphree hit a 3-pointer as time expired to send Tech into the break with a one-point lead.
Tech built the lead to eight at 31-23 in the second half, taking advantage of a Cowgirl scoring drought that carried over from the first half and saw OSU scored just two points during a nine-minute stretch.
Sophomore Andrea Riley got the Cowgirl offense going in the second half, scoring 19 of her game-high 21 points in the final period. The Big 12’s leading scorer reeled off 10 consecutive points to help OSU grab a five-point lead.
Tech cut the lead to two down the stretch behind five straight points from Stanecia Graham and tied the game at 56 with nine seconds left on a pair of free throws by Tiny Henderson.
However, junior Shaunte’ Smith drew a foul on the ensuing possession and knocked down a pair of free throws with two seconds left to give OSU the victory.
The Cowgirls will be back in action on Sunday at 2 p.m. when they host Iowa State.
