That would be an amazing feat and a great trip. And beating Boise State when the goons couldn't would be priceless.

Umm looks like you might be wrong... Notice UO is listed in the Insight Bowl which is in Tempe, ie still Phoenix metro.... :p

Don't you think sooner fans would be one angry lot if they played in the Insight Bowl and we played in the Fiesta?
Now that would be fun! :officechair:

Vette,
I imagine this means the following(feel free to correct me if you think I am wrong):
1. UT wins out.
2. OSU loses to UT but wins the rest.
3. NU beats KU, loses to OU and loses the Big 12 championship game.
4. TTU loses to OSU and OU.
5. I don't care about MU.
6. OU loses to OSU, TTU and KU. (I personally don't see this happening.)
What do you think?

If that did happen, wouldn't the land thieves be sittin' at home instead of going to a bowl?

That'd still put OU at 6-6 and thus bowl-eligible for the year, and even at .500, you can bet there'd be some committee licking its chops to get the Sooners to come to town.

Yes, that is kinda what I had penciled through as well. I think he is a bit pessimistic on OU. I could see OU winning against Kansas. If so, that MIGHT push Tech up to the Holiday Bowl and send OU to the Alamo.

If ou ended up 6-6, there would be no bowl game for them because the sooner nation would implode out of frustration.

You wouldn't see too many tears being shed from this direction.

After this season, and many in the past, I refuse to look forward any further than the next game.

I'm with you Majormike. It is too soon to be worrying about bowl games. With 6 games to go, anything can happen.
