Channel 5 posed the question "Is OSU being overlooked?" Mark Rodgers had to preface his remarks with "A lot of folks think we are Texas lovers... unless Dez comes back for the Texas game, there's no way OSU will beat Texas." When asked about OSU's ranking he said 15th or 16th in the nation was about right, probably should be lower. For me, it almost sounded like "Well, since we pissed off the ou fans in the first segment covering the Texas/ou game I will make them happy by degrading OSU chances to do very well.

I've got to quit watching these idiots.

If you listen to the OKC media you will constantly hear things like "OSU has a nice team" or "OSU is pretty good considering..."

The OKC market is so pro OU that they just can't help themselves. The Tulsa market is a little more balanced, but still a little biased toward OU. That has been changing slowly over the past few years. The only thing that will really change it is winning. We have got to start beating OU and Texas a little more often...and particularly when it counts. Winning a big 12 championship would have a dramtatic effect on the media's attitude.
