I have a great friend who is an ISU grad. When we went to the OSUvISU game in Ames I asked him about the stadium name. He told me the story.

Glad to see it out there for people to read.

WOW, I never knew any of that. Thanks for posting the story, I think it is wonderful the students are the ones who pushed for the stadium to be named in his honor.

Great Story... just assumed that it was named after a big donor like most of the college buildings on any given campus are named after
