View Full Version : Chant for a really bad Ref Call

Last Saturday was some of the all time worst ref calls. Some of us were standing up yelling to the refs that we had actually used two hands to make a tackle and that surely deserved a penalty for touching an Aggie.

In midst of this a fellow below us yelled at the Refs "Go Back to Footlocker". For those never having experienced the mall, the Footlocker store has their sales people dressed in REF clothes.

In any case, that yell from one of our fans had to be the best comment I have ever heard. This Saturday, if we again experience the idiots of the Big-12; Please chant; "Footlocker REFS".

We've been telling referees that they should go back to Footlocker for years now ;)

and I've been telling the Footlocker guys, "good luck on Saturday". (most of them don't get it)

Bwahahahaha.

Yeah, I forget which season it was (probably 2004-05) when Ed Hightower and Steve Welmer had gotten so bad that we brought a few Footlocker bags to Gallagher-Iba and tried to give them to them.

To Ed Hightower's credit (and frankly, I've never had too big a problem with Hightower), he came over during a timeout and said he'd filled out an application at Footlocker but was denied a job because he couldn't pass the piss test. Ed always did at least have a sense of humor though.

If there were only 3 refs like there is for basketball, chanting the "3 blind mice" song is always fun.
