The Bob Kurland thread reminded me, WHO was
#1 / #2 in the ESPN countdown...it was suppose to have
been announced at Super Bowl but I didn't catch it.

I was sure Barry S. had to be 1 or 2 and maybe Earl C. the other???

Barry was #2 and the Galloping Ghost (Red Grange?) was #1

You can tell Barry was the man whenever he is ranked over Emmitt and doesn't even have the rushing record like Emmitt.

Of Course... we are Tailback U. .. I think another guy was also pretty dang good that belongs on that list that played in front of Barry by the name of Thurman :pete:
