How were the shows?

Shows were fan-freakin-tastic. Zumanity and O were just unbelievable. You didn't want to close your eyes, because you'd miss something! Loved it! O was my favorite.

NYNY was nice. Maybe not as nice as some of the others. Next time, I'd like to stay at the Wynn or the Bellagio. I also really liked Madalay Bay. We ate at Gallaghers in NYNY, and it was the best steak i have ever had. Delicious!

Went to M&M world and bought the kiddos gifts. Pretty cool place. Went to the outlet mall and shopped. Caught the fountain show at the Bellagio, which is really something to see. Drank (ahem) several of the HUGE coyote ugly stick daquiri's. Yea, the glass is about as tall as your feet to your knees. The girls there knew me, and knew i was a good tipper, so they would put in two, or three shots of rum..;) Enough to get me good and toasted!

We hung out at NYNY, Palms, Rio, Venetian, Bellagio, Ceasar's, Madalay Bay, MGM, Planet Hollywood (fantastic buffet there, btw) and the Wynn. Bleedorange called me on saturday to see if i needed bail money. He was @ the Nugget.

Hit pretty good on a poker machine at the bar while watching a duel piano show in NYNY. Cashed in and quit!

Ate and watched a game at the ESPN zone. It was pretty cool, food was ok.

I thought the pizza in NYNY sucked! Ate a piece around 8 at night, and it was so soggy i threw it away!

Had a CRAZY cab driver. OMG. I thought i would die on that ride. So much that i yelled at him "THERE GOES YOUR TIP YOU CRAZY ASS" LOL. Bill slugged me in the leg to tell me to be quiet. He scared me though, and he was honking his horn and screaming cuss words at other drivers.


The lil mexican guys standing all along the street "snapping" the nekkid girl cards really loud at the men that are walking by? Yea, i ended up telling one off them off as well. I was offended they were trying to get my other half a prostitute. I didn't like that much, and once i had a few ugly sticks down me, everyone was fair game..LOL


I really dresssed up for the shows. Wore my best jewelry, heels, the works. It was fun!~ Ate ALOT of good food out there, and tried things i have never eaten before.

Bill did pretty good gambling. After all we spent, gambling shopping and all, we came home with 1,000.00. So, not so bad.


Enough for him to buy me that new Coach purse i wanted for Valentines day.

It was a fantastic time, but not something i'd want to do real often. Maybe once a year. We hit the ground running, and didn't stop the entire time. Makes ya feel really old!

All in all? I thought Zumanity couldn't hold a candle to O. Don't get me wrong, it was ok, just not on the same level as O. Blue Man group wasn't that great (for adults)...more of a all ages show.

We are going to see O next time. We couldnt get tickets this time.

I liked all the crowd interaction with Zumanity, but as far as overall show, it was the least of the 3 we saw.

Sounds like you had a great time Annie. Gallaghers was great wasn't it? We loved that place. I told you the best seat fpr watching the dueling pianos was outside the bar at the poker tables. Do I get a finders fee for telling you that?? :)

We ar going to see O next trip. We did Zumanity and Downtown Gordy Brown last time. Check out the Venetian the next time you go to stay. If you want nice, they just renovated their rooms last year. Three flat screens per room... 3... one in the sitting area, one in the bedroom, and one in the bathroom. Very Euro style.

Glad you had a great trip Michelle. You sound like someone Melissa and I would have a great time with there. Maybe in the future.

Agreed 100%. "O" was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Awesome acrobatics, gymnastics, and it had some good crowd interaction as well. I would have paid double to see that show.

I'm glad you had a great time in Vegas. I agree also on the maybe once a year visit. I was worn out after our trip there.

The acrobatics that were done on the ship in the air were fantastic. If you were paying attn to the ladies on each end, and saw how they were going into the flips underneath the ship. Awesome. I didn't take my eyes off the stage the entire show. Bill really liked it as well, and that speaks volumes!

We got to iteract with the clown in the white overalls before the show....when they were carrying the huge life preserver.

The clowns were pretty funny!! I thought the way the curtain was sucked up instead of opening traditionally was pretty cool just to start the show and also how it sucked one of the performers behind the curtain just before it opened. The other cool part that I was impressed with was when they had the 3 pendulums that were alternating shooting everyone across the stage.

We were reading a program or something they said the water tank was around 1.5 million gallons or something like that, all I have to say is WOW, the entire show was awesome!!!

Did anyone go across the street from NYNY into that Canyon Souvenire place? I couldn't figure out how to get out of that damn place. I kept walking around in circles upstairs, because i didn't want to look like a Oklahoma dumbass asking how to get out...LMAO!

After watching about 4 other people walk around in circles, i let them ask. Then i followed them out.
