Beer and grease, pillars of J.B.'s food pyramid. The Cajun Shrimp Stick sold next to the Coliseum is the greatest fair food ever. Shrimp, onions, battered (spicy!) and fried; great stuff with a tall cold Bud. (I may go back for more after the adult supervision leaves the country on Thursday:food-smiley-004:)

Microwave spicy pork rinds (two tubs to go); great Hardesty cheeses (Prairie Fire 'habanero', horseradish, and jalapeno goat); fried pickles w/Silver Bullet, some "Stroud" wines; and Ben Jack Larado "Prairie Dill" Mustard and Bloody Mary Mix to go.

Major downer, the fried ravioli booth wasn't in its place this year.:(

Whoa, I think the poodle just passed gas!:officechair:

A few people in my group took the day off to take their kids to the fair, I haven't been since I was in high school.

This is a one day event for us; sadly, you are correct. This state has a major obesity problem, and from looking at the attire on Monday, a major gooner unemployment problem.:wow2:
