Anyone know of a doctor or can recommend a doctor in Stillwater that is taking new clients? My wife and I have not had a doctor since our last doctor decided to be a she instead of a he and moved to California. We've just been going to the walk-in clinic but I'm thinking I'd like a complete checkup. Suggestions?

After a deal like that, I'd probably swear off medical doctors and try to find a nice family oriented Shaman.

The whole deal was really strange. But I think we need a family doctor now that we are in our 50s.

I know exactly which doctor you are talking about!!!
I see Dr. Shreck at Family Care Clinic (they just moved to the Anthony building on 6th street). They are more laid back there, which I like.

Thanks! I will look into seeing if Dr. Shreck is taking on additional clients.

I've been thinking about changing my doctor, so I'm curious what others suggest. I don't go all that often, but my current doc seems to be sleepwalking these past few years.
If you want a complete physical, you can get one through the Wellness center (http://wellness.okstate.edu/EHC.asp) for $25 (if you're faculty/staff/student). I did that two years ago. They do some limited blood work (cholesterol, thyroid, and a few other tests), they measure your bodyfat, and do a full physical.

Maybe I could skip that part. ;)

My husband sees Dr. Smithton (Corby I think) at the same clinic and really likes him. They are also all grads of OSU's med school!
