17 Undefeated Teams through week 4

Florida
Texas
Alabama
LSU
Boise State

Cincinnati
TCU
Houston
Kansas
Michigan

Auburn
Iowa
Missouri
South Florida
Texas A&M
UCLA
Wisconsin

There was one team in the top 10 with one loss thru week 3. Will there be more after week 4 after three more undefeated teams in the top 10 lost?

Look for these one loss teams to be in the top 10: Oklahoma, Va. Tech., USC and Ohio State.

There are currently 6 teams that are undefeated that can win out without having to play another undefeated team.

There are 4 Big 12 Conference teams with perfect records at this point. Only one can possibly have a zero in the loss column before the bowl selection. SEC has 4 teams and other one of them will be undefeated too. The false Big 10 has three teams and all three of these teams will play each other this year.

So, at this point in the football season the most undefeated teams that we can have in 2009 before the bowl games is 9.

I find it a bit odd that Texas A&M is undefeated and has not reached a single vote from the media.

Look who they have played......Mew Mexico (1-3), Utah State (1-2) and UAB (1-3). This coming Saturday they will be playing Arkansas. Expect them to have 1 loss when we play them.

Oh and legel....aTm does not play either Kansas nor Missouri

Legel:

I'm worried about you. Now looking at your post I see that you were up at 12:05 making a post, on this thread, about undefeated teams. That one I don't really worry about so much because I too was up, at that time, still basking in the glow of an OU defeat.

But then I notice that you made the correction post at 1:21 in the morning.

Legel, get a life. Preferably with your bed at that time of the morning. Leave the late hours to the young folks for their drinking and carousing and (dare I say it) conquests. Old folks need sleep. And you "ain't a spring chicken" anymore.

Just looking out for your health.

Ouch! As I approach the half-century milestone more rapidly than I'd like...comments like that directed toward no-matter-whom pain me, too! LOL

Off to find the Metamucil before I make my way to the rockin' chair....:music-smiley-019: :D

Three more undefeated teams move into the top 25, Auburn (17), South Florida (23), Missouri (24), and . Wisconsin just can't get any respect and is still on the outside looking in.

TCU moves into #10 and makes it 7 undefeated teams in the top 10.
