http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Packers

The oval "G" logo was created in 1961 by Packers equipment manager George "Dad" Braisher. The team actually used a number of different logos prior to 1961, but the "G" is the only logo that has ever appeared on the helmet.[25] Although the Packers have granted limited permission to other organizations to utilize a similar logo, notably the University of Georgia and Grambling State University, the Packers hold the trademark for it.[26] Adopted in 1964, the Georgia "G"- though different in design and color- was similar to the Packer's "G". Then Georgia head coach Vince Dooley thought it best to clear the use of Georgia's new emblem with the Packers. However, since its inception in 1961, the Packer's "G" has been redesigned several times and now looks like Georgia's original 1964 "G."[27]

Gee Willikers

A phrase originated in the 1950's for the ultimate climax.
After hours and hours of hard work and preparation, the male will release all the tension with a massive utterance of the pharse, hereby known as "GEE WILLIKERS"...

Today this phrase is very rarely used as it is very outdated. Please, by the suggestion of all the females in the world, think of something much better to say at such a critical moment.

Gina~ OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Dick~ that do you like, that do you like?
Gina~ Yesssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dick~ Gee Willikers!
Gina~ Oh that's kind of queer

Not true.

From Texas Tech's athletic website:

The famous "Oval-G" is a secondary lettermark of Texas Tech University, and though less familiar than TTU's "Block-T" logo, the Oval-G has since become synonymous with Red Raider athletics.

The Oval-G was created in 1912 by equipment manager Cornelius Dempsey, who created the mark to signify Texas Tech's important role in America's manifest destiny.

"The 'G' stands for 'Go West', which pays tribute to our forebears and their conquest of the dreaded Redman and his brutal savagery," Dempsey said. "The rotund shape surrounding the G is a likeness of our honorable and noble president, Mr. William Howard Taft."

The Oval-G has since been adopted by lesser sporting organizations - most notably the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League, the University of Georgia, and Grambling State University - though it will forever be a symbol embraced by all amongst the Red Raider family.

It's just unfortunate that, through the course of evolution, Lubbock and the surrounding area never progressed past a state of primordial ooze whilst the rest of the planet developing things like multi-celled structures, brains with cognizant recall, opposable thumbs and the ability to speak.

yeah, but that inability to evolve leaves you with the forward pass on every freaking play of every series of every game.
