View Full Version : Speaking of rumors...
I read on another board that Perrish Cox is rumored to be out of commission for FOUR WEEKS. If this is true, it sucks horrendously. And no one seems to know how bad Dez is, and how long he's going to be out. And that's on top of Kendall and the others who were already out.
I think we have somehow angered the football gods, and they are making us pay. It may be time to throw somebody in the volcano. Anybody volunteer to make a large sacrifice for the Alma Mater?

I think the football gods have punished the Cowboy family long enough. Find me a volcano, I am going to take one for the team!

To even out all the misfortunes OSU football has had over the years, I would expect around 15 undefeated seasons in a row, five or six national championships and throw in three or four Heisman trophies. Paybacks are going to be hell for OSU's opposition... someday.

I believe this person you speak of being thrown into the fiery pits must be a virgin, a pretty blond female one. Wait, my first thought of a proper sacrifice is just two much to pay. Maybe a smart-ass will do the trick. Make that two smart-asses.

Test the fiery pit with a gooner. If OSU's misfortunes turn around, great! If not, one less gooner.

From the Tulsa World:
Cox doubtful: During Saturday's Grambling State game (6 p.m. at Boone Pickens Stadium), Cowboy cornerback Perrish Cox likely will join running back Kendall Hunter on
the sideline.
Cox sustained a right-shoulder injury against Rice. It is not believed to be serious, but he is not expected to play against Grambling. Hunter, who sustained a right-ankle sprain in the Sept. 12 loss to Houston, did not play against Rice and is expected to be inactive again this week. The Cowboys are off on Oct. 3. Cox and Hunter should return to the starting lineup for the Oct. 10 Big 12 opener, when the 16th-ranked Cowboys play at Texas A&M.

I would certainly consider doing it, if there would be guarantees of football success and that my family would be taken care of, but I believe only full time smart-asses would come close to qualifying as worthy sacrifices.

He said "smart"ass....
maybe Lewis and I could team up, does anybody know how many dumbasses it takes to make a smart ass? (sort of like two wrongs making a right).
You made me LOL, CC.
(Is it possible to be a dumbass and a smartass at the same time?)

Now that's a good question.
All I can say is that would be one smart dumbass.
