you would think when just when you heard all kinds of insane things someone comes up with a real doozy . i dont know what will happen with sean after the season but i can assure the public that bobby knight wont be a head coach at osu . this was brought on by the total dominace hour when public enemey #1 dean blevins told little Al and jim that he was told that holder may be going to talk to Bobby knight . thats right everybody's favorite coach except mine could really be a canidate should sean get caned . this is something i hope doesn;t happen and i cant see it being a posibity because he would have to recruit against his son.
i didnt know that dean raids ricky's weed stash . nevertheless treber said if this happened he would never go to a public event in stillwater as long as knight is on campus.
i was amused that dean would bring this up . what will he do next tell us bellicheck is coming to stillwater to take over for gundy ? its not happening
i dont normally listen to the littleman and his two croonies but this caught my ears and i was wondering if any of you heard that.
by the way i am not accepting critizisum today for i have came down with mad cow and dont have time to respond to the usual i hate you respnse or my all time favorite you are on my ignore list . sorry troops but i have affairs of state that i must attend too .

then you need to read Pat Quinn's article in today's SWO Newsmess
Bob Knight part of the old guard
Pat Quinn - NewsPress
— I want to wish Bob Knight nothing but happiness and success in his voluntary trip into surprising retirement.
Why do I say that? I like Bobby Knight regardless of what a heretofore reckless media has attacked his fiery temper tantrums, obviously forgetting his unbelievable success as a collegiate basketball coach.
Another reason, and maybe as good as anybody can come up with, is Mr. Iba respected Knight as a coach with the most victories ever but the “Iron Duke” truly liked the tempestuous young man who succeeded at West Point, Indiana and Texas Tech.
In return, Knight’s adoration of Mr. Iba has been chronicled repeatedly.
I reveled in Mr. Iba’s tales about how he and Knight talked and taught basketball.
Both were taskmasters, driving their respective charges to the limit of exhaustion, but their former players never relinquished the idea their time spent under these two basketball giants was beneficial far beyond the lines of a basketball court.
The late Tulsa World Sports Editor, Bill Connors, one of the most thorough, capable and honest sports columnists I’ve known, was a close friend to both men. In fact, Connors’ private phone directory contained the unlisted telephone numbers for both Iba and Knight, plus such greats as Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle and others.
Years ago, Connors followed Mr. Iba to Bloomington, Indiana, where Oklahoma State’s athletic icon was conducting Olympic basketball trials in the Hoosiers’ superb multi-court facility.
Knight was the perfect host to Connors and came over to spend some time watching Iba and staff conducting the drills. Connors was relating an incident that had occurred earlier in the day.
Connors laughingly told Knight about a flattering public address announcement telling that Iba was coaching on a certain court. Iba, who was used to “turning off” raucous crowds in Gallagher Hall didn’t pay any attention to the announcement.
It prompted another person in the media section to sarcastically remark, “That man (Iba) is so old and senile he couldn’t even hear that announcement.”
In his most menacing voice Knight snapped, “Where is the SOB who said that?”
In his most tactful manner, Connors calmed Knight down by telling him the person wasn’t there any more.
Knight wouldn’t tolerate adverse remarks about Iba while the man was working on his Olympic team on Knight’s home court.
This is just one of the reasons I like Bobby Knight and would feel comfortably honored if my son or grandson played basketball for the man.
Watching
Big 12 Conference football is growing in popularity as the industrious Hillary Jeffries of the National Football Foundation informed us in her weekly communiqué.
ESPN and ABC, who handled most of the post-season football games viewed in an average of 44 million homes, reported the Missouri-Kansas game was the seventh most watched college football game ever with 10,960,755 viewers. The ninth most watched game was the Mizzou-Oklahoma game (10,841,849 viewers).
Now, how they figure out of these numbers I’ll probably never understand, but it means the Big 12 is catching up with the SEC, the majority choice as the nation’s top collegiate football conference.

affairs of the state?
Ya know, just because you're marginally literate, it doesn't automatically mean you're a goon. It just increases the likelihood....

I thought it would be harsh just to fire him, but I'm not sure if I can continue being an OSU fan if they CANE him!
Poor Sean!

Why would anyone want to ignore acefin? His posts are intriguing (or in his words intreeging) and say so much. For instance, how many of you can claim a man crush of the proportions that TBone, I mean ace, has for Alonzo Mayes?
It's folks like JimBob who are bringing this board down with the hatred and mean-spiritedness.;)

If one of my students ever turned in a paper like that, I would not read it, just put an "F" on it and give it back.

well great balls of fire , I am so very glad that we have spelling and grammer police and a unlimited resource for the political corectness army . I was feeling bewildered and confused .
look i know some of these yardbirds are in awe of my greatness but to say one has a man crush on a player is comical . the one good thing I must give it up to myself for is , at least I am willing to talk about our boys in orange . A gooner snake would never acknowledge the players i brought up.
If the mystro of mischeif didn't know any better I would have thought my fellow osu was suffering from berry trammel overload and were lacking the courage to take their misguided anger on him instead of a poor sap who fell asleep in english class .
thanks wyoming , you are a class to the masses here.

I must protest the venom toward one of the five greatest americans for I was planning on donating 15 million dollars toward the football stadium and another 12 million to the baseball stadium.
unfortunately , I am going to hire a tutor for my bad grammer, so wyoming ,I guess you should think the masses for turning down the money to build a dome for the stadium heaven forbid if a man tries to promote a tightend or fullback for the heisman or give a unsung hero his due.. Yet there will be enough time to rip me on that later , as for the five greatest Americans I supose that everyone has George W Bush , Madonna , Brittney Spears, Brett Bomar and Bob Stoops as their favorite .
Sorry to disapoint some of you yardbirds but here are the real heros that make this country great are.
(music Please )
at #5 is Chad Johnson WR Cincinatti Bengals
#4 is Terrell Owens WR Dallas Cowboys
#3 is Helen Hunt ( my future bride )
#2 is D'Juan Woods ( osu 's finest )
#1 is Acefin / Slick Willie
I know you people are envy of me but not everyboddy can be on the new list of great Americans it takes charm , spiritual and political epitude , and well , a desire to be one of a kind
oh i promise you jokers i wont ever root for ou and I promise that i will work on my horible grammer but i will not be denied or ignored you can set me up with Jenni Carlson and i will make the sacrifice just for jim bob hell if that dosen't prove my loyalty to osu then the fanbase has serious issues .
