hello. How are you? ok, nevermind.
Why howdy, Pokevette! Good to see you.
Annie's out of town doing family stuff for a couple of days. I'm sure she'll get on that as soon as she gets back!
Edit--oops, I quoted the wrong thing, but you get the drift. Don't worry--nobody "fired" you! You have to bear with Annie and me--we're just barely on top of figuring out the administrative stuff. But our hearts are in the right place!

Welcome back, Jonno! Glad you found us. If you remember anyone else who's missing, send word!

Hey Razor Poke, Man welcome back to the real world.
We need your insight on what those U of A razorbacks are going to do for a coach. What is the word you have been hearing?

One thing is for sure. If on the same day a school massacre occurs in Fayetteville and a strange private jet lands at the local airstrip, the jet gets top billing:eek:
Several people still think its Tubberville, but Tubby accepted and then withdrew 9 years ago when he was at Ole Miss. Thus they hired second choice Houston Nutt. Auburn is a better job, at least right now.
HOWEVER, Auburn isn't better than LSU, which is exactly why Tubberville is stringing this along. He's going to LSU and not Arkansas.
I don't see another rumor, that is Mike Leach, happening either. He would not fit in that environment.
Arkies need to realize that Fayetteville is not the destination it once was. They're on the outer banks of the SEC, and because Texas (the state) has gone B12, their recruiting base is, well, not a base at all. That great class of 5 stars out of Springdale a couple years ago is like a 100 year flood.
This is the same school that "settled" for John Pelphrey as hoops coach after Dana Altman went through the introductory press conference and the next day headed back to Creighton.
As long as they are in the SEC, they'll be a good spoiler (last week), but rarely a year-in-out competitor for championships. They have great facilities and a rabid fan base. If they come to the big 12, the South would crazy good in many sports, and particularly in FB, hoops and baseball.
The next coach could come from anywhere. Jeff Long, new AD, has Big East, ACC, Big 10 and Big 12 ties. Nothing would surprise me.

Nice avatar JD.
Thanks. It's actually animated (he's chasing....whatever it is). I guess with the animation, it's too large for the avatar size limits.

Yeah, mine is usually animated, too. It's on 'the list' of stuff to fix. Soon, my friend, soon.

Vette, i didn't fire anyone...? All i did was create a new board. This board has nothing to do with o-state, or with Ryan Austin. Jessica and i created this board for the o-state family since Ryan abandoned ship on all of us.
If you have interest in being a mod here, send me a pm and we'll talk about it! I have no problems with you. I think you are a great asset to this board. As far as being fired, i'd say Ryan fired all of us.

So when are we going to start a t-shirt and donation drive?;)
It'll be very interesting to see what the real costs of running this site will be.

It WILL be interesting. So far we've spend over a thousand dollars in about a week.
Are you saying you want to help take on the costs? We'll let you, if that's how you really feel.

Nope, I was implying that maybe all of Ryno's "much needed money for the site" was maybe being spent on the over/under on that week's Monday Night Football game.
Oh, gotcha! I guess I'm a little paranoid. Sorry. (we have no blushing emoticon, but I am...)

Regardless of how he ran his site, or what he did with the money he collected (even weeks before the board closed) this board isn't for profit. We won't be begging for donations. Ever.
