So according to the feds, 30 million Americans are without health insurance. I'm sure that number is padded every way possible to help make their case, but WTH, I would too. Anyway... It's constant crying, blah, blah, blah, uninsured, layed off, blah, blah, pre-existing, wrong, uninsured, blah blah, etc. from the Obama camp. But what number of people are driving around without auto insurance? If health insurance is a right then why not car insurance too?
If someone without car insurance hits my grandkids on their way to school then it directly effects our family. WE have to pay the medical bills, to get our car fixed, to home school the kiddos until they can get back to school. This drives up our car and health insurance costs. This hasn't happened to me, but it does happen thousands of times every day in this country. So why hasn't Obama called for a gov't run insurance plan for auto insurance? Aren't these the same evil, greedy, insurance companies that according to him have ruined our healthcare system? Why is it that individual states and the free market can work for one type of insurance but is considered totally unsuitable for another? I'm just wondering...
