Dems get to choose between Hillary and Barak. Go for experiance or go for charaisma .. if anyone was going for creativity and a drive to put things in order then Edwards would still be in the race. :o)
I'm fairly confident that the big race is going to be McCain v. Clinton ... on the chance that Obama gets the Dem nom then I would expect Clinton to be his running mate.
I'm not sure who McCain would tap for a running mate since he thinks everyone else are idiots. lol

You guys are missing something... go to CNN.com and look at the number of Dems that showed up vs the number of GOP that voted - even in red states. Completely scary. The Obama was 2nd in Dem votes, but got more votes total than McCain did. That doesn't bode well for the GOP at all.

Yes but a lot of republicans didn't roll out to vote because their is no race for that primary. McCain is all but a lock whereas the way the democrats do the primary it will come down to the very end and every vote will count. Especially with their allocation of delegates...

I have a feeling if Obama wins the Dem ticket, be ready for a lot of Southern Dems voting republican.
Just a gut feeling I have.
McCain is pretty liberal for a Republican though. I voted for Romney, because I figured Huck is done, and a vote for him is a vote for McCain.
I would rather have Romney than McCain.

And McCain is just moderate enough to attract some of those "Southern Democrats".
They rolled out heavily for algore and kinda supported Kerry, but I don't see them supporting Obama. He is too young in their eyes. And, unfortunately, some will say he is the wrong color.
6 months ago I would have not given the Republican party a chance in hell for the White House again because of the backlash against Bush. But now they may very well have the opportunity to remain in the White House even with the Iraq backlash.
Should be interesting to say the least.

There's no way you can say that. Up until yesterday there was less than 20 delegates seperating McCain and Romney, and ther had been so much publicity in the McCain/Limbaugh/Romney/Coulture thing. GOP had as much riding as the Dems did; they just didn't show for it and it is that lethargicism that is going to elect a Dem in Nov.

And will shore up the base for a Reagan conservative to run in '12, not one who is owed the shot at it like McCain and Dole.

If Bill couldn't get more than 38% of the vote I don't think Hillary will get that much of the vote come November.
I agree the Dem roll out has been quite impressive. Don't know how that actually will translate come November. People may not like McCain but they really don't like Clinton. I think many people will be shocked come November, I just wouldn't write off McCain or the Republicans at this point.

As for the dems I hope Hillary wins this round. I feel Hillary is the lesser evil of the dems. By the way it is looking there may be a big fight over a demrod.

I do not wish to look like I'm being condescending, because I'm not, but Oklahoma's prevailing attitude is not necessarily reflective of the attitude of the rest of the country. Take this from someone who's lived in a dozen states all over the U.S. It's gonna be a crazy year. I think anything could happen in November.

Um... right. Especially since Oklahoma hasn't voted for a Dem Pres in the main election since FDR.
