So, we get home from errands this afternoon, and an ONG truck is in front of the house; we didn't call them. Meter reader was here yesterday, guy today is checking on excessive gas usage. Duh, the new addition has its own heating unit, and it's not on a "controllable" thermostat, so it runs a BUNCH!
Explained this to the guy, thought this would fix it, but Noooooooooo! We spend about an eternity checking, turning everything off, etc. End result, there's a minor gas leak detectable on the screened-in porch, which covers the old concrete slab patio. Next thing we know, the guy has to shut off the gas. Here we sit..........but, we have space heaters!:D

It's related to the poodle's lauch pad, has nothing to do w/new construction. Sounds like a we'll prolly need a new/rerouted gas line into the house. No explosion, no foul.:D

Whew. That's a relief. For a moment, I thought this was going to have something to do with your sig pic and the fact that you left that bong out in plain view.

WTF? Talking about your partner that way when we have a successful medical practice going; you should be ashamed, and we need to raise our prices.:D

Sometimes it takes a highly trained professional to spot such things. I just hope you've written yourself a prescription, dude:

Gawd, you gotta love the freakin' utilities. Called in this a.m. for "yard" man, after being told yesterday by the shut-off t*rd, that one "would call us". Dude shows up this afternoon; ONG will move meter next to house for "free" :D, but have to have a new "cut-in"(gas link from house for new meter -may not be the right term, but WTF) which has to be done by a plumber. Good news, we have a plumber working on the house addition and will do the work tomorrow; bad news, it takes 48 hours for paperwork/ONG B.S. so we're looking at Monday before the gas is reconnected. This truly blows goats.

First you got the no electric thing in Dec, and now you got no gas in Feb.
Who have you pissed off???
The neighbor that was all twisted up about the porta-john isn't related to someone on the Corporation Commission is he?
Hope you get this lined out pretty quick.
How are those cold showers treating ya?
Being without gas has got to be almost as bad as no electric.
