"STILLWATER, Okla. -- On a Saturday of new beginnings for the Oklahoma State football program, one tradition seemed out of place. Every time the Cowboys made a first down, everyone in the Boone Pickens Stadium-record crowd cocked their arms in anticipation. As the P.A. announcer overdramatized the moving of the chains, every arm shot forward.
That tradition should die immediately.
Elite teams do not celebrate first downs. Elite teams celebrate touchdowns. And make no mistake, Oklahoma State is an elite team.

Would anyone consider the Denver Bronco's an elite team? Maybe not this year, but hey, they have Superbowl trophies.

Should they stop the IN-COM-PLETE chant?
After all, elite teams only celebrate touchdowns, right?

and by the way, with Cutler gone, Denver will be chanting that alot...on offense.

I'm just talking about him bagging on us for doing the first down thing.

I read it all, and quoted the part i took issue with. Sorry, thought that was clear.

I know he said we are an elite team.

He complimented the team, but did it while taking a shot at the us fans.
So as one who does the arm thing when we get a first down, I take offense & say piss on him.


Nobody has to agree with me. Im cool with that.

I believe he just needed something to lead into the elite team part eloquently. I don't think he really thinks less of us for doing it.
