This guy is either psychotic, or has some VERY clever enemies.
Thank goodness he didn't select the Cowboys. :D

Weird. Just plain Weird.
Does anyone think that the kid is so ignorant of the system that he mistakenly thought letters of interest from these colleges were offers from the schools?????
Weird.

"The dilemma is that Hart was never extended a scholarship - not just by Cal, but by anybody that we know of including Oregon, Washington State, Oklahoma State, or Nevada. Nobody knows if Hart was extended a scholarship by any school in the country whatsoever – or that he has any opportunity to play at any school."
As some of my athlete's say... Keep our name out of your mouth... :D
At first glance you would think the kid was just try to con the people or trying to just get attention... however, I personally know and have seen how colleges recruit kids and I can say that there are times where people can get the wrong idea. Lots of kids think that the colleges are sold on them or telling them things that would make them think that they were a lock for a offer... so let's see what the facts are first

That is not true, not exactly anyway.... according to the SI article, he sent his "representative" to talk to the HC to see if there was any interest (and of course there was), the representative (a cousin or family friend or something) then told the HC that OJ would call him that evening (don't call us, we'll call you), which he did. He did not "meet" the coach in person, but he did talk to him, and it was mutually agreed that he would be welcomed at USC (which is far different that this odd story).
He also showed up for his "official visit" before signing day (complete with documentary camera crew in tow) before he signed his LOI.
The coach had not been recruiting OJ, because he didn't honestly think that he had a shot at recruiting him, and thought he would be wasting his time; however, he was fully aware of OJ Mayo, and his abilities and jumped at the opportunity to invite OJ to join the team.
As weird as that whole story was, it would not be complete without adding that OJ asked the coach how recruiting was going, and then told him not to worry about recruiting that "he" would take care of it for him..... YIPES!!!

Well it looks like the DOK is trolling the OSU boards for stories again as this strange story suddenly ended up in the paper today....

You would think SC would be wary of all OJ's....LOL
He is quite a character. But has a game similar to LeBron's

It took pretty big stones to admit he was wrong, some of our elected leaders, and political candidates can't do that.
Funny story though!

I'm not sure about that. With none of his story matching up with reality, he really had no other option other than to confess and hope that they don't prosecute him for filing a fake police report.

Exactly. Hardly a responsible thing to do.
