Enid 28, Sand Springs 7, fourth quarter
ENID — Sand Springs quarterback Johnny Deaton hurt his right shoulder on a running play early in third quarter against Enid.
His shoulder is wrapped up, and he is not expected to return to the game.
While the specific injury is not yet known, Sand Springs athletic director Ed Garrett said in a phone interview he believes it was a broken collarbone.
"It was just one of those freak plays," said Garrett. "There was nothing he really did wrong. He was just making a normal play."
