God has indeed granted me the patience of 10,000 men today.
Well, after the big party last night, my kids completely stuffed themselves with every sort of junk imaginable. By the end of the evening, oldest is complaining her tummy hurts. We go to bed, thinking she just stuffed herself. Around 11 she gets up complaining. I give her some pepto. Midnight she comes in and wants to lay down with me. Wife can't sleep with her in the bed so wife goes and lays on couch. From 12 - 3, she keeps waking me up. Finally at 330 I wake up to her puking all over me. Went all the way thru the matress cover.
So after an hour of cleaning up, everyone finally gets back to bed at 430ish so I can get up at 530. I get up and ready, still smell puke everywhere I go because it is on me, get the boy ready and we take off for work. His daycare is on base, and we had just got thru the gate when he starts to puke all over himself, his car seat and my pickup.
So now we are at home and I will spend the rest of the day washing pukey sheets, comforters, clothes, car seat padding/straps, and trying to get it out of my pickup. And I still smell it everywhere.
