Well, she's off to New Jersey...

....for the next year. It was harder to send her off than I thought it would be, but I managed not to cry. The same can't be said for the JDettes....though they're doing better now.

Say a little prayer for her safe journey (she's driving), and forgive me if I'm even more grumpy than usual around here (if that's even possible:)).

365 (leap year, you know) days and counting! We'll go out there three different times (including Christmas in NYC), she'll come home a few times. It's all good. :cool:

My step son is 16, and we made ok for a week when she went out to California last summer, but we were ready for her to come home. I'm not sure we would have made it a year. If she had stayed another day or two, I was gonna have to cook.:mad:
