This is going to be a lose to the team, but I am glad we know that he out so the coaches can go in a different direction. I hate it when a player is out for a couple of weeks then he is ready to play and then he is not, then he is again, then he isn't. He will be ready for next year when we really need him after Hunter goes pro.

And much like Antoine, the combination of a redshirt year and an injury screws up medical hardship years. So, in all probability, Kye will only get 3 years of actual playing time.

Kye will be fine. Yeah, he only gets 3 years, but it will be 3 awesome years! Your in our prayers Kye, get well soon.
One of my in laws works at the office where they treat all OSU and UO athletes, he'll be in very good hands. Some of the best surgeons in the country there.
