Just wanted to drop a line for my little more than usual silliness this week. This has been a funky week for me. Most notably, because mi madre is out visiting LA from New Mexico.

Some of you that know me or remember, my mom had 2 strokes in 06. This was her 1st plane ride since then. And I have been a little nervous/anxious since because of it.

PS it also didn't help when someone put the idea out that verb might wear chaps when we go see Eddie this weekend!!

Hope your mom is doing well and having a great time. (And I don't mind your online goofiness at all. But then, I'm familiar with your live and in person silliness, so it gives me some perspective. ;))

Now that I have turned 50, I'm allowed to be kind and motherly without any improper suspicions allowed! It's the only good thing there is about being 50, as far as I can see.
