Missouri could win the BCS national title in football.
Two more wins Mizzou! Go get 'em!

Ive been meaning to bounce some things off some uo coworkers but havent had the chance.
In the past they told me that I "need to cheer for uo in the Big 12 championship so the big 12 will have a team in the National Championship. Its good for the conference."
I wonder if they feel the same way this season? I want to see if they are pulling for Mizzu, for the good of the conference!

Ha! That's right guys, take one for the team (conference)! There is no "ou" in team! :-)

this morning on the radio planck or however you spell it was desperately running up the goons, talking about how mizzou is NOT the number one team, if patrick runs like he did against oSu there is no way ou won't pound mizzou, etc. yeeeeaaaaah...patrick compiled those running numbers against literally just about the worst defense in the country. i don't confess to be that familiar with mizzou's defense, but i'm sure they are much better than oSu's and it's unlikely patrick will look like a heisman contender against them.

I want all of us to think back to the start of the season. Correct me if I am wrong but at that time it was implied that the Big 12 was not going to be that strong this year and that the MNC would be between the SEC and the Pac 10 (LSU and USC, specifically).
Which just goes to show you that All of those talking heads/expert commentators /former coaches who have become TV personalities and writers who follow college footall are not the "know it all's" that people think they are.
Please Please Please try to remember this next fall when our collective ORANGE football juices start flowing and you read somewhere that the Cowboys are not going to do worth a dang. I am sure that Kansas and Missouri fans are feeling a little different about their teams now. And by the end of next season we could too!
And oh yeah, GO Missouri. Beat OU!!!!!

The one thing that irks me is that this may be the first year that a true name school will not be in the BCS Champ. game and rather than say that this parity is great for football and how intriguing it will be to have 2 teams playing for a national title that haven't recently been contenders, they're saying that this is more evidence for a playoff and USC and Georgia could currently beat anyone they played right now, and this is the worst thing to happen to football. It ticks me off.
Personally, I'm more excited to see MU - WVU than seeing tosu, USC, or anyone from the SEC play for the naitonal title.

I would love to see Mizzery mudhole uO, then mud hole West Virginia, then Chase Daniels win the Hypesman . . . That is what would be good for the Big 12!:D
This is a perfect reason why any poll that is part of the BCS formula should not be taken until the week prior to the BCS rankings being released. Pre-season polls give a huge advantage to the "traditional" football powers. That has to cease!
