STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State is announcing its season football ticket package and says it will not sell individual game tickets to the Oklahoma game. Fans wanting tickets to the OSU-OU Bedlam game will have to buy a season ticket.

OSU will sell single-game tickets to all games except the OU game which will be the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The price will be $60 for nonconference games and $85 for Big 12 games.

Cowboys athletic director Mike Holder says the decision not to sell an individual game ticket for the Sooner game is an effort to increase season ticket sales. Holder says a similar plan by Iowa State last year resulted in ISU increasing season ticket sales from about 30,000 to 36,000.

Season ticket prices are $419 for seven home games against Houston, Missouri State, Troy, Texas A&M, Baylor, Iowa State and OU.

Annie I didn't see your post about game tickets! if you want you can delete this post.

$419 divided by 7 games = $59.83 for basicly minor league football, which I love don't get me wrong, but GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK!!!!!

yes I know Family Fun Zone blah, blah, blah.

Lewis, seriously why do you even come around when you never have anything good to say about OSU?

read my responses, I think I speak what's on mind. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I feel I am the most honest person I can be. If I sound negative, maybe I am correctly speaking about a negative situation.

The school does not get a free pass, just because I am emotionally attached to it.

OSU will always get a free pass from me. But I'm emotional like that.

I type what I think too. I think you are just always looking for attention and trying to be the shock jock poster who always has something off the wall to say that will make people look at you and think you are cool.

Unfortunately, that fad of entertainment expired a few years back and you were never very good at it anyway.

If you actually brought something to the table instead of ignorant, outlandish and often rude comments, maybe your comments wouldn't be as worthless.

To just show up to a post and spout out inflamitory lines that do no one any good, having no basis in reality, give no one any information other than you are just being a jerk, and does nothing more than to sound like a little bitch, doesn't do anyone any good.

Sounds like a bargin to me... I'd much rather watch my Cowboys on 7 weekends (and visit friends), than spend an equilivant amount any other way.

Keep in mind that you couldn't pay me to go see a Pro sporting event... so that is not an option for me.

Lewis simply does not get much enjoyment out of OSU and the festivities surrounding gameday... I guess we'll just let it go at that.

my pleasure, to pass the popcorn, no promises on cutting it out.

I think Mike is just upset that the Lakers will overtake the Spurs this year. And he incorrectly assumes I'm a Laker fan.

No worries...

If it gets too ugly, i have a button here somewhere. I can start hitting them until one works.

I'm always surprised at the people (Lewis) who want a grade A product at rock bottom prices. I have one son at OSU and another set to attend in another year. I will have two in school at the same time for at least three years.

I'm not well off by any means, but we choose to budget the money every year to buy season tickets and make a small donation. To me, it's all about priorities. If you want to support the program bad enough you can find a way, even if it means the FFZ (which we used for about 6 years).

But, if your butt is not in one of the seats, don't complain about how it reflects on our program to see empty seats on TV.

You are a class act, and the kind of person I think of as the classic OSU fan. And I still believe there are many more like you than there are those crazy "entitled fans" on some of the other boards.

+1

The only reason why I haven't made a post like this is because I didn't want to think he "hooked" whatever he was fishing for just to feed his overblown, "all-too-important to himself" ego.

Dude, I bet you think that that when you make "fishing" style comments, which is usually more than 90% of the time, you hit enter on your keyboard and tell yourself, "Man, that's so clever. I can't believe I came up with that on my own."

Don't get me wrong, you occasionally have SOME comedic retorts, and occasionally make some intelligent posts. For the most part, though, it just seems like you try too hard to fit in and be cool when all you have to be is yourself and you'll be accepted fine.

I know you are going to say that what you're saying IS being you and that we just can't handle the truth. Believe me we get it. We just don't find it near as amusing as you do.

At the risk of making this a flame post, which it clearly isn't meant to be, I will just say don't try so hard to fish out somebody to try and flame you so that you can hop up on your pedestal and tell all of us that we can't HANDLE what is you're saying because we have on "orange colored glasses" and are blinded by facts.

That make any sense to you?

Now, back to the thread subject, I think it's a great idea and think that it could definitely increase revenue.
