Any of you from Catoosa?

An opportunity has presented itself, which could involve me working in Catoosa. Its basically a suburb of Tulsa isnt it? Whats the housing market like there? Cheaper than in Tulsa?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Inola is only a few miles away, is it a lot cheaper there?

Any info would be greatly appreciated folks!!!

Catoosa, home of the Route 66 "Blue Whale"!

I've got a cousin that lives in Claremore, just north of Catoosa, that is a nice and growing area. It's "away" from Tulsa, while still being close. They really like it.

If I remember right, the school district is pretty rich nice facilities and such. At least it was 25 yrs ago when I was in High school.

Catoosa has the benefits of a suburb without some of the things I don't care about like schools, homogenous aryan ancestery, shopping malls stuff like that.

It's very inexpensive for a suberb, and easily commutable if you want to live in a nicer place, like Brookside, Cherry Street, Utica Square, or Swan Lake.

Catoosa is a middle of the road suburb, that in my opinion has been adversely affected by the Cherokee Nation's Gambling haven. (decrease in tax base, transient clientale, and no ability of city government to regulate)
