Looks like Mr Seely will be a part of history, twice.

He was a part of the greatest individual season in NCAA history, with Mr Sanders.

And, now will be on the undefeated Patriots team.

Coolnes..

I totally agree, Ben. Another reason I am cheering for the Patriots, besides being undefeated, is because I don't want the Dolphins to keep opening the champaigne after every super bowl. :D

well i must protest but only because i am a fin fan and i am just as sick of the bashing of the 72 players for taking pride in playing football which alot of players today dont do because of the money agenda.
besides mercury said it best the pats will be the second team to go undefeated and i those guys like merc i cant blame them for wanting to be remembered. i hope the giants whip up on the patriots but if they dont i will give it up to the cheaters i mean pats.

instead of mercury and co. going away i wish the bashers would go away.

I don't think anyone's really bashing the 72 players.

They were the first to run the table; a record that has stood for at least 36 years (assuming the Pats duplicate it tomorrow.)

I do think it's kind of funny that you complain about bashing at the beginning of the paragraph and then move on to a bit of bashing yourself later on. :)

By tomorrow night it will be settled; either the 72 players get their annual celebration (aftr the longest wait ever) or we get to see Eli get an MVP.. frankly -- I find the latter more distressing than anything else we have discussed. lol
