Last night on the final inbound by the Sooners, why did we not foul the guy immediately? The announcers were saying it, I was screaming it, yet our players appeared to be trying to "defend" instead of "foul"?

As I recall we were down by 1 with about 10 seconds or so to go. Strategically, seems like we would have sent the guy to the line. Worse case would have been that we were down by 3 with the ball and about 8 seconds left. Plenty of time to set up a decent trey opportunity. Instead, we let the clock run before the foul at mid-court giving us no time for a realistic shot at winning the game.

What in the hell was that about? Surely our Coaches told the guys to foul, yes?

I think they tried to foul, and did not get the call

Well, we had the guy double teamed on the base line, yet one of our guys was waving his arms high, not reaching for the ball. That to me is trying to "defend" not trying to "foul".

If we are unable to foul when we have the guy double teamed on the base line, seems to me like something is lacking in the way of Coaching.

It is called BB IQ and unfortunately we lack it big time. Hariis illustrated that several times during the game when hearing the crowd noise rise as we neared the end of the shot clock, he elects to drive and throw the ball out front.

We didn't lose on that one play, there were too many calls, plays or lack of understanding that could have changed the outcome.

Kudos to Sean for starting Obi, that was needed in a big way. He still needs to start Adams and bring IT off the bench. Glad to see Moses getting some minutes.

Who knows, that might have been afraid of being called intentional.
