Attended my first Woman's game. I hope the crew that worked the KSU game was the same one that worked the OSU-UT game. If they are not, my guess is that the Big-12 hired officials who were rejected from intramural games. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Why they would let people be mugged but call ticky tacky stuff on the outside is beyond me. It wasn't all one way for KSU, we got away with an elbow that almost decapitated a defender on one offensive series, how the refs missed that one was also incredible.
I know we focused on the failure on the offensive end, but the KSU defense was far better than our D. KSU was getting wide open 3 point shots, when they penetrated, they were getting very good looks from 5-8 feet. Outside of Riley, our team was struggling to get a shot off and even Riley was frequently covered. Massive improvement is required on the defensive side for this team to have a deep run in the NCAAs.
But is nice to talk NCAA.
