Our country is collapsing and this DA wants to argue about something that happened years ago. How do these idiots keep getting elected?

This is what senators like Mr. Smalley do. They have got to make sure they stay in with the MoveOn.org crowd that sent him the money to win the election.

I can respect Franken for not being a career politician. He pursued the senate position after the former sen. His friend passed away.

As for the swiftboat ads, it seemed cheap and if I recall the swiftboaters for truth were eventually discredited. Boone should be held to task for that.

However, this wasn't the place or the way to do it.

You do that in a private meeting, you initiate the conversation, you show some sense of freaking decorrum.

It is interesting that the Democrat website refrenced is called moveon.org, when some clearly can't or won't move on .

Some people get elected as kind of a protest or "they can't be worse" vote. Al Franken made it and Kinky Freedman didn't.

Britain has a "Monster raving loony party" that has actually elected members to Parliament.
