Probably blowing this by posting on a public board open to Bell Ringer/Tortilla Tossers.....but here goes.

I have a good friend who is a Gay Raider die hard. He constantly gives me crap about our attendance.

I made him a $100 email bet that our total aggregate attendance for all home games for the season would exceed theirs. He gladly and rapidly accepted.

Most people don't study schedules enough to realize our very unusual 8 home game schedule and he is one of them.

We will prolly be within spitting distance of overtaking them on a per game basis this season, if not overtake them. But with an extra game, it is a no-brainer bet on an aggregate basis, albeit I had to word it VERY CAREFULLY.

He'll be wanting to get that word 'average' in the mix when he sees those eight games.

I'd feel badly about taking advantage of somebody stupid enough to tear their own seats out of their own stadium so they coan't sit down through the entire game.:stupe:

last year they had
375,375 for 7 games at 99% capacity

OSU had
337,828 for 7 games at 80% capacity.

If you're counting 8 games to 7, then you might get him; which hardly seems fair.

We averaged
48,261 and they averaged
53,625, so we might even get them on average.

There. That's much better. That was very good information, CC. Thank you.

I am no tech lover, but if a football game is played right, there should be no need 2 sit down.

As for florida's bet, you made the assumption that the tech fan didn't look at the schedule, he may just not know how 2 count. ;)
